Family!!
It was so amazing to skype y'all yesterday! Sorry it was
so chaotic..
I'm glad y'all live close enough that y'all could quickly
drive to moms last minute to see me! Sadly, David's skype on his phone didn't
work so I just had a lovely phone call to him after I talked to y'all. It was so amazing to see y'all and to finally see Ivy! I'm
stoked that I'll be home in 6 months and can see y'all again!
So I guess I will just give y'all the weekly update. Last
Monday was fun, it was one of my last days in Ocala we went out with some of
the young women in the ward that night and it was great!
On Tuesday we spent
the day seeing everyone I needed to say goodbye to and having lessons. That was
a sad day. The best one was seeing Amanda. Like I told y'all, on Monday she did
my nails for me and then gave me some perfume, a necklace, and a bracelet and
also 2 pairs of expensive boots! She is the best!
Then on Tuesday when I stopped by she gave me a giant box of chocolates and
roses with the sweetest card ever! Man, I just love her to death and I'm so
excited for her to get baptized!! On Tuesday night Sister Olsen and I spent the
night dying our hair and then I packed.. I had so much stuff!! It took forever!
So Wednesday, we had transfers.. It was so sad to say
goodbye to Sister Olsen. I miss her so much already!! I'm loving it here in
Jacksonville. My companion is Sister Ruesch. She came out the same time
that I did but we didn't know each other until we got to the mission. So, being
a sister training leader may kill me! I'll be giving my first training in zone
meeting on Wednesday and then next week we have zone conferences and then we
have interviews. Not to mention that we have 2 trade offs a week the rest of
the month. Let's just say I'm already overly stressed! Haha so my new companion
is good. She is very happy all the time and just loves to talk to everyone. And
when I say that I'm not even kidding! We will be driving and she will pull over
and unroll the window just to talk to someone. She is constantly wanting to be working so we rarely get
a lunch or dinner break. Let's just say it's a new adjustment and might be long
transfer for me.
So let me quickly tell you about the people we have here
in Jacksonville that we are preparing for baptism. We are working with John
Simmons. He is going to be baptized on May 28. We have Nanny, she is going to
be baptized June 11. And then we are working on setting a baptism date with Julie and her family!
Well, basically I have no time for emails.. I will write
better next week! Love you all and I'm so happy we got to see each other
yesterday!
Love you and miss yall!
Sister Webb
